According to an announcement shared with The Block, Kraken’s integration allows customers to trade DEX-based assets using familiar interfaces—without needing to manage separate wallets, bridges, or navigate complex DeFi tooling. “By integrating DEX functionality directly into its core app, Kraken is making early-stage token markets more accessible without requiring users to leave a familiar environment or manage separate tooling,” the statement reads.

The approach mirrors earlier products like DeFi Earn, which taps into onchain yield vaults, and reflects industry-wide efforts to lower barriers to DeFi participation.
